  My first time , my wife has been before she very much enjoyed the Salmon Salad and the steak sandwich this time . I had the chicken sandwich. The roll made the sandwich . Luka's is on main street in Jackson . Street parking or a city lot ( under city hall ) about a block away . Prices on the menu from seven dollars to over forty plus .   Solid food but service wasn’t amazing.  Probably didn’t help that we tried to go back twice (2 different days) and they’d had technical difficulties and were closed.  Kitchen crew definitely did their part.  I had a tasty steak salad and the greens were fresh and lightly dressed the steak was tender and well cooked.  I was quite impressed.  Had hoped to try cocktails here as I thought they might have potential.

Service was spotty.  We waited 10 minutes to be seated and another 5 for menus.  All told it was close to an hour from walking in the door to food being served.  It seemed long. However servers were polite and ambience was nice.

  Very happy with our visit. Service with a smile. Great selection in of spirits and beers. Good options on the menu with very comfortable setting. As for the food, we liked it a lot. Would make a couple of changes to some items but overall very good. Burrata was good but mushroom sauce should be served in a ramakin and on the cheese.
